Team Eagle Eligibility

Valid NHRA Competition Number required

1 - to be eligible to join Team Eagle a racer must have attended ( raced ) at least 3 points races at Eagle during the current year.

2 - to be eligible for Race of Champions a racer must have attended ( raced ) at least 50% of the races at Eagle during the current year.

3 - four Race of Champions contestants are chosen from each class with the exception of high school which have two contestants. The contestants are chosen in descending order from the points leader on down in each class. If an eligible racer will not be attending the R.O.C. then the next available racer is eligible for the position as long as that racer has attended ( raced ) at least 50% of Eagle points races.

4 - one team of 48 cars plus 2 high school, and 4 junior dragsters which will be split into Thunder and Lightning classes dependent on ET. The team of 48 cars may be made up from any of the categories of Sportsman, Pro, Superpro, and Snow/Bike. In total 50 entries are allowed per team. High School cars may only run in the Saturday Race of Champions, then if they wish to participate in the Sunday event, must race as Sportsman or Pro, depending on ET. Junior dragsters may only participate in the Saturday R.O.C.
