E.T. Championship Racing
The following classes will compete in the E.T. Championship Racing series. All classes and requirements are governed by the current NHRA rulebook. All classes run on a .500 sportsman tree.
The E.T. Championship series consists of 15 races this year except junior dragster and high school which have 17 races. All racers running in this series have the opportunity to race for Team Eagle at the NHRA E.T. Finals.
Points will be earned as follows: first round– 20 points; per rounds won -11 points. Please see chart below for total points by round;

Special Race dates for this year
The Land of the Leaders Challenge is a 4 race “series within a race”. Four of the E.T. Championship Series races are designated for the Land of the Leaders Challenge. NHRA requires that you have a current NHRA ET competition number & membership to participate in the challenge and you must be using this number at the event. The driver with the greatest number of points in Division 6 will be rewarded at the NHRA awards ceremony in December.
This year’s races are April 27th, May 11th, July 12th and August 16th.
National Dragster Challenge. All drivers who compete in at least one E.T. Championship Series race will be invited to race in this event. Winners in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Snow bike and Sports Compact will receive a special edition NHRA Wally.
This year’s race will be July 12th.
King of the Track. The King of the Track competition the top racers from each class [excluding Jr Dragster and High School] in a run-off to see who takes the top honours, along with the special “King of the Track Wally”.
The King of the Track competition will take place September 12th.
NHRA Division 6 Summit E.T. Finals. Firebird Raceway in Boise Idaho will be hosting the Summit E.T. Finals this year. Please see the Team Eagle information link for more information.
They will be held August 29th, 30th and 31st this year.
