This is very hard for all the people who knew her, even though she took her life, that was not the Jessica we knew. We will remember her for who we knew she was, very nice & bubbly, and such a great racer!! Jesse and her dad were suppose to race in the ET Finals and Race of Champions for Team Ashcroft. This will be hard for all of us in Woodburn, but her spirit will help us all get through it.

Dear Jessica,
Young and pretty, fast and fun
Always a smile and a great laugh
Kind and caring, a big loving heart
We love you and miss you Jessica

Your life touched so many
Those who knew you were lucky
Those who did not, wish they did
Our thoughts are with you now and always

We will remember you forever
We will miss you forever
Memories of you will make us smile and laugh
We love you and miss you Jessica

Glenn

This is Shayne Rooker from Prince George. I had the pleasure and delight of meeting Jessica Cook this year racing in Ashcroft and at the National Open here in P.G. This news comes as an absolute shock and I don't quite know what to say other than I liked her a lot and thought of her as a really good friend only minutes after meeting her. I am devastated to hear of her passing and send my love, thoughts and prayers to her wonderful father whom I also had the pleasure of meeting this year, Jan Cook.
It won't be the same for me when I come to Ashcroft next year. Not being able to look forward to seeing Jessica at the track like I always did, every single time I went. This is not fair......I really enjoyed her..... Shayne.

What can one say? Jan, my prayers go out to you. My memories will always be fond of Jessica in the short time I knew her. A warm bubbly spirit that always brought a smile to everyone she met. May God grant you His peace.

I just heard about Jessica. I went to school with her from grade 2 all the way through high school, and then saw her around UCC from time to time as well. To have not heard about her for so long is the obvious indication that we did not move in the same circles, but I remember her as, well, in our younger days so charmingly innocent, and always pleasantly surprised about something.

She was one of those people who you immediately got along with and wanted to protect to a certain extent.

My heart goes out to you, Jan.
