This weekend sees Eagle Motorplex host their 15th annual Aurora Night Drags Saturday. Racing starts in the late afternoon and goes until midnight (or later). The first SK Auto sponsored Top Eliminator race goes Saturday with three hits of qualifying and then one more hit Sunday morning. Elimination's start at noon Sunday. It is a Zimmer Wheaton double header weekend.

Then next weekend, is the 25th Anniversary race. With close to a dozen Funny Cars including Nitro Funny Cars, and Rocky Mountain Funny Cars are two of the features for this special race. The NW Outlaws are in race #3 in the 2012 season. This one should see our biggest ever field (close to a dozen bad azz dragsters, altereds and doorcars will battle.

If you raced in the past at the Plex and still own your car but don't race it, bring it out and put it on display. Let Joe know that we will have a few cars for the retro corral. There is also spectator camping at the track, so if you are looking for something to do for the long weekend plan on coming out for one of the biggest shows ever at the track.
