NHRA rescinds window net rule

As of March 5th NHRA has made amendments to the controversial window net rule that was implemented for 2012.

this from our D6TD....

NHRA HQ has decided to rescind this new requirement and has
gone back to the 2011 requirements. For cars running 7.50 and slower that
require a cage, you can use a non-SFI ribbon-type window net OR an SFI
mesh-type net. The mesh-type nets when used where a net is required must be
replaced at the end of their 2 year service life.
