Al, useally the cars run before the Top Fuel bikes. So we would get three qualifing hits on Saturday, can't remember if they get one qualifier on Sunday before eliminations start at noon.
We will not be able to make this race either due to blemished new slicks from Hoosier and apparently neither Hoosier or Gee and Gee racing from edmonton where I bought them from are will to do anything accept my money including an extra 150 bucks to rush freight them in last friday. Out over a grand no tires no support and no racing Hoosier and Gee and Gee are so done. Please warn all your racer friends Hoosier DOE NOT STAND BEHIND their product or customers Enough said I have pics
The concession will be open. And the thread has been a 100 dollar buy in per car with the CMDRA kicking in $1000. Sounds like a gamblers style race one class only from what I can see.
-$100 buyin all proceeds to racers 1st,2nd,3rd,4th place payouts amount to be determined by number of entries. Eg 9 cars 1000 1st, 500 2nd, 300 3rd, 100 4th.
If more cars then 4th 3rd and 2nd go up in winnings.
- one class (run what ya brung)
- cross talk will be on
- 3 qualifing hits Saturday, 1- qualifing hit on Sunday and into eliminations. Buy backs are a possibility after talking with Joe tonight. He will Probably chime in on this soon.

Dave, two things:
1. You ran in S/Pro for years without a box in your dragster, if I recall.
2. I ran in Box class a couple weekends ago with my No Box car, and was #1 qualifier. You know how to cut a light, so go for it.
Think back to the King of the Track events. It was won by everything possible: A Bike, 3 sportsman cars, a Pro Car, a Doorslammer, and only a couple of S/Pro cars. (no Sled, sorry Tyler) If your car repeats, and you can cut a light, you will do well.
What a weekend.
I want to thank everyone for a great weakend, the bike guys, eagleplex. but I have to also thank Andy for believing I can do it, when I didn't.
Thanks again
Dave
