So like everyone else i am trying to put my own schedule together and i would like to think if the track was getting re-surfaced there would be some sort of contracts or dates confirmed with such a company that does this sort of work.I would think this is a job that is shopped around and/or priced/quoted well in advance and not a few weeks before race season is starting. Can this be confirmed or the situation updated cause it really makes a diff to fast cars that may consider racing there. I think eagle is a gem in the desert and would hate to not race there anymore but in its current condition its very sketchy and unsafe to anyone going fast! If its not gonna happen can we please get in on the table! Thx TS6644

Your right, all that homework has to be done before any project can be done including this one. The AIB has been working very hard on this project as well as many others to improve our gem in the desert. They, along with all of us want to make this a first class facility, and the answer your question is yes, they have assured me that this major improvement is scheduled to be done early April or as soon as the weather permits.

Just curious, is there any kind of an update regarding the re-surfacing? Have the powers that be gotten all of the required quotes, and thumbs up from whomever needs to say ok...?

Everything is moving along, none of the companies start until sometime around the 15th of April.

This meaning that the AIB has a company in place to do the resurfacing and a work contract has been signed with work to commence as weather permits?

Brian, I do not work in the office there and I am not in touch with AIB on a daily basis [there is no reason for me to, I am a volunteer and work somewhere else for a living] but they assure me that they are getting it done and have arrangements in place. I do know that I have to go up and meet with the company before the work is started when the time is a little closer.

No problem Brian, it has been a long winter and I trust that AIB is doing what they said they would do. I have had alot of personal issues that have taken up alot of our time the last 4 months or so and they said they would look after it.
