AHRA will be presenting its Big Buck Sportsmen event July 10-11 at Eagle Motorplex, in Ashcroft, B.C., Canada. Eagle Motorplex has been tirelessly working on many major track improvements this year to their track surface and additional grandstands in preparation for the three AHRA events hosted by them this Summer. The first event scheduled July 10-11 will feature the Outlaw Doorslammers and Blown Alky classes, along with a Blown Alcohol Funny Car match race, Alcohol Dragsters and fire passes by Canada’s #1 Jet Funny Car, “Rollin Thunder”. All this plus the $5,000 to win Super Pro and Pro AHRA Sportsmen classes. Street Eliminator, Motorcycle/Sled and Jr. Dragsters will be run as well. “AHRA is extremely pleased with with the track’s progress in assuring a safe, first-class facility for their racers and spectators”, stated Troy Moe, AHRA C.E.O..

So looking at the schedule it appears to be a single header for S/P,P,S/M,S/B? Is that right? Saturday is time trials? Being a Zimmer race, gold cards will be honoured? Thanks.
Do you have to be an AHRA member to participate? What are the ET breaks for Pro and Sportsman? What is the prize money for Juniors? What other classes are you running Stock, Superstock, Superstreet?
Hi Darcy, the classes are listed on the poster [no super classes or stock classes other than super pro]. The payout for juniors is 80% payback just like the other classes [$60.00 from entrance fee of the juniors goes back for payouts].
Very nice package for the kids, if we get the same as last weekend or more the payouts will be very nice.

Ya it would be better to be a member if you run all three events. For what they are offering in payout and the fact they let you double up in class, the numbers could potentially pretty good payout wise.
yes it is $25.00 extra.
If you get a membership and double up the thee races it is all good.
Dave on one side of the ladder and Vicki on the other, see who get bragging rights.
This weekend looks great. Everything gets started on Thursday with the AHRA and some Eagle racers on location at Zimmer Wheaton GM and the Strauss Herble Mall all day, so come on out and meet them. Gates will be open from Thursday afternoon. Racing gets underway both Saturday and Sunday at 9.00am. AHRA will be hosting a hospitality area for all racers Saturday night.
We will be having 3 qualifying hits on Saturday as well as a gamblers race [non electronics and electronics with the winner of each running off in the final] as well as a dial for the dollars run on your third hit.
Along with pro, super pro, sportsman, snow/bike and juniors our Blown Alky Series and Outlaw Door Slammers putting on a great show for everyone with the Rolling Thunder Jet Car closing the show on both days.
